About 5 weeks ago we received a very special package and in the package was a jar with 5 caterpillars. They were tiny. We watched them grow biggger and longer and fatter like in the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". Then they spun a cocoon each and we had five cocoons. We transferred the cocoons into a little net garden. And we watched and we waited. We arrived back at school after a very long weekend and we had 5 butterflies.We were so excited and we let them fly off today into the breezy sunny day.
